Swedish artist Yung Lean attempted to unite the many identities that have shaped his career - rapper, singer, visual creator and experimental outsider - into one coherent work on his album, Jonatan. Stripping away much of the maximalism of his earlier work, Lean embraces sparse guitars, piano-led arrangements and a darker no-wave atmosphere to explore ageing, heartbreak and authenticity.
